How Here came about

After moving to Shanghai in 2016, co-founders Mathias Estevez and Alex Nove experienced firsthand how challenging it was for expats and students to find comfortable, fully equipped housing that met their needs. They realized many were struggling with complex local regulations, language barriers, and limited trustworthy options. It was a clear problem.

Determined to make a difference, they founded Here Real-Estate Agency to simplify the housing search and rental process for foreigners in Shanghai and beyond. By combining local expertise with personalized service, Here Real-Estate has grown into a trusted partner—helping clients secure hassle-free accommodation from short stays to long-term rentals.
